Civil Servitude was a webcomic about the local government in a fictional suburb called Bluff City. 

The characters were in no way meant to represent real people, so even though they may have looked like someone you knew, they weren't. Government employment tends to attract certain people who are easily stereotyped, and we did.  Our characters were based on such stereotypes and were in no way meant to represent real people, living or dead. 

Many of the situations, sadly, were true. Truth is always funnier than fiction.

Now Civil Servitude is evolving into something more like your traditional blog, with thought-provoking and insightful essays about work, life, and family that are this writer's attempt to make lemonade from life's lemons.
